Interior Doors arrived yesterday, and most of the insulation was put up. Fireplaces were installed today. We had a beautiful early fall day, and got some posts stained on the front porch and also deck posts.

Okay – we haven’t stopped working on building this house. But we have been busy and it’s been awhile since an update. We have now had several inspections (gas piping, electrical, framing) which have been passed and allow us to insulate. That is being done right now. Hopefully, a framing correction can be quickly completed and we will get approval to cover (install sheetrock). Once that is done, we can paint, then do floor coverings, cabinets, etc, etc.
On the picture front, how would you like to call your boss and say, please send out a tow truck – ah, better make that two.

Things have been going on, even if not as obvious. The front Porch is on and will be roofed soon. The fireplace framing is done in the great room and the rec room, and the rough in heating and air conditioning is almost done (thank you Lee).
